Bouquets are timeless in a painting. Flowers are essentially ephemeral, always evolving, moving, blooming, wilting. As I paint and witness their journey, the painting becomes a capsule of those few days of glory, held for you on the surface. I call these forever flowers, and by that I mean in part that the painting can be yours forever.
