"Portrait of Jess after Corot", graphite, 2008.

Earlier I posted sketches of Jess, modeling for the portrait class. She had on a dashing feathered hat. This week she was back, as a 19c French peasant girl in a setting after the French artist Corot. I have always loved Corot’s work, and not only because he lived in the 19th c. Jess gave us a glimpse of Papa Corot, for which we thank her.
