Welcome to the work of artist Peter Dickison
(b.1960)

"The leitmotif of Peter's work is intimate tranquility. The human forms emerge from the landscape. His central intuition is that human activity is framed by nature but that human understanding fabricates the landscape. Close examination of 'Midday- Break' or 'Bathers' exhibits this insight in color tones that unite the human forms and their setting with brushwork that illustrates how both arise from the same clay."
